Over 24 years ago Deborah Sopher found her passion for helping clients make important decisions for both their personal and professional financial goals. Her benefits and financial advisement experience began as the result of closely partnered relationships with community hospitals and medical groups, helping them to align with managed care providers and to help build best practices for their organizations.

By working with numerous medical practitioners over the years, she found a key interest in developing a Financial Planning practice that primarily worked with physicians and their businesses. After gaining this incredible experience, Deborah decided to open a locally based planning and advisement company on her own.

Today, Deborah remains as the owner and founder of Strategic Financial Services, a comprehensive financial planning firm. Deborah is driven to help individuals, couples, and businesses address the concerns they have today – for the future. Strategic Financial Services focuses on both personal and business needs of the small business owners. As a small business owner herself, Deborah takes an analytical view. She understands the components of a small business, its employees and the owners. As a financial advisor, Deborah holds true to her fiduciary responsibility, focusing only on what is best for the client.

Deborah is an integral part of the local community, taking roles in multiple organizations including Jewish Family Service (current Board Member), Jewish Federation Business (past President and Board Member), as well as the Professional Women’s Organization (member) and The River (past Board Member).

Deborah is a graduate of the University of Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and Marketing. She passed this love for education to her two proudest accomplishments, Sarah (23) and Noah (19). After attending George Washington University, her daughter Sarah is now a Bio-Medical Engineer based in San Jose. Her son Noah is now attending University of Hawaii, Kona, to study Marine Biology after a year of study and travel in Israel, Egypt, Australia and New Zealand. Deborah loves to hike, bike and above all travel the world – especially with her children.
